Chicago pool happenings

So I just read all 5 pages of the thread :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Looks like I should check out Chris's if I get a chance! For the locals, what nights do they have leagues/tournament's at Chris's? I probably won't hit a ball (not packing my cue) but wouldn't mind watching something.
I should loan you my 3-piece carbon fiber cue :ROFLMAO: I've brought it as a carry on many times. One day I'll have to see if it goes thru the newest TSA machines.

2026 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

I've been playing 15-ball rotation recently and decided to give the AZB ghost a try. Had a decent 9-0 session. I couple stumble shots, but mostly clean.

Don't forget to change playback speed to 2X [or more].

Also, sorry for the ball cleaner running!

My TAOM V10 Blue chalk goes to 11..

I agree with your statement, but it's definitely a pattern I have been noticing, especially in league play. When everyone used the cheap house chalk, I rarely saw skids. Now, 90% use taom, predator, or kamui and I see skids very often.

It's possible that this is partially due to the fact that equipment has getting faster so many will hit softer more often but still. Everyone says it's cleaner, and it's true, marks aren't as visible on the CB, but there is definitely a residue left behind.

Even as SBE, skids cost both me and my opponents a few racks. I stopped shooting softly after the 2nd time!
I find shooting softly causes poor strokes, if I want less travel from the cueball my forward stroke is only an inch or less through the ball but very deliberate, it's been a game changer for me.
