Another stupid thread from me: golf is harder than pool

They aren’t even close. Pitching from the short grass right on the edge of the green and putting on the green itself are perhaps somewhat the same as pool. But the putting/chipping game is still thirty or forty percent tougher than pool.

As for the game from tee to green, FUGGEDABOUDID! (Or however you spell that dismissive phrase.). There is simply no comparison. I once stood near Ian Poulter when he had a level lie in long grass but about one hundred and sixty yards up hill to the green. Without any hesitation he took an iron and sent the ball rocketing onto the green. The controlled strength that shot took stunned me.

I know both games.

Chicago pool happenings

What do you mean "a mile away", are you suggesting I'm flying???
I believe he's saying the 2 roads are far apart and you weren't near where you were claiming to be
So you reckon he thinks its not possible to have driven thru Chicago many times on many different paths?

I reckon you said this...

Yapp’s Controversial Tournament-Winning Shot in the 8-Ball World Championship … Was it a Foul?

Only the willfully obtuse are still claiming good hit. Worse than them, are the ones condemning Yapp. It’s a professional match, with a full time professional referee. You don’t call fouls on yourself, under those circumstances.

i think you do if you feel you touched a ball, imo. ref can't always see what you feel. this call otoh was 100% for the ref to make

Extension Adapter

Apologies if this has been recently asked (I sorta remember a thread about this but I can't find it.)

What parts would I need to fashion an adapter for cues with the butt bumper attached to the butt via the weight bolt? I have a series of cues (Adam, Orchid, and Helmstetter) that all seem to use the same butt bumper attachment, that is, a long screw that goes into the weight bolt. Are parts available to screw into the weight bolt, which would allow an extension to be screwed into it (and still have the rubber bumper, or "a" rubber bumper)? If such parts exist, where can I get them?

See photos attached. Thanks much.
