Related to my post above about who Shane beat in Florida, the most impressive thing is how well he still plays at 43.

We are in the midst of a changing of the guard. Most of the top players over the past five to 10 years have seen a clear dip in performance, even though many are still in their 30s.

SVB has maintained his level. Carlo, too. Yapp stepped into the top ranks two years ago and is likely to stay awhile. He's just 30. Filler and Gorst, in the mid to late 20s, are in their prime and are the best two players in the world. (I omit the Ko brothers due to focus on China).
Scott kept mentioning his age, like it was surprising he still played so well. One mention would have been enough. The fact is a mature Shane is playing better than ever!

Do you prefer the final day layout of this year's event (presuming you are familiar with the bleacher layout from last year)? On video feels like last year's bleacher layout provided better overall atmosphere. I could be totally wrong about that. Just curious. Cheers!
Does this answer your question? All seating at table level. Couldn't see a thing. And we had "premium seating." What a complete ripoff.

The two bungled eight balls, both at critical times in the match. He butchered both of them. It's like he lost his mind for a moment.
That 9 Kazakis missed was almost the exact same miss he had vs Petri in the quarters. Uncanny. Same spot on the table bridging over the rail. He loses to go down 9-3 to Shane and that was it.
