First day with my Aramith Tournament Black , dinged already

I was playing at my clubhouse with a neighbor.
He was slamming his shots, no clue why.
After he got tired of loosing and left I decided to wipe off my new cue ball.
I see lots of blue stains, the color chalk he used. Under one glob of chalk I find a 1/4” ding . Looks like it is through the clear coat not into the ball.
I tried buffing it out, no luck.
Any suggestions?
Unless your neighbor was playing with a phenolic tip, there's no way it was anything he did to cause the blemish. My money is on the table you played on has nail in pocket liners and one of the nailheads was exposed causing the nick, I'd wager some of the object balls have them too.

Where did you buy your Aramith Blacks?

3 things you would change about pool

It's fine the way it is. After decades of everyone complaining about pool not going anywhere, we're riding the crest of a wave. The current formats, commentators, rule variations, etc., may not be ideal for us hard cores, but cumulatively may serve to bring new fans and players to the sport. Far as I can tell, somebody's doing something right.

Florida Open 2025, August 5-10, Orlando, Caribe Royale

This has been an ongoing problem from Day 1 of WNT TV. Still no listing of a Florida Open at all among the on-demand viewing options.

WNT knew the event was coming. They had time to prepare. They have ironed out some kinks, but this is a big one. It should have been addressed by now.

The stream of each table should automatically be archived and be available for viewing within an hour of its conclusion. We could access recorded matches almost immediately on DAZN and Youtube under the prior viewing regime.

I can, however, access all the matches I want to see from the World Pool Championship. Not having the trouble Decent Dennis is having.
We have a team in the UK that look after the technical of live to VOD, due to the time difference (2am UK) when we finish in Florida, the VOD won't be available until the morning of the UK, so a few hours later than planned.

Apologies for the Florida Open section not live on WNT TV, I can assure the VODs from day one are ready to be viewed, I personally ensured this was done.

The team in the UK are finalising the FO section now.

Lot of bad ideas here. Glad all you guys aren't in charge of pool. Sorry! ;)

WNT has discussed the possibility of a limit on how many times a jump cue can be used. I would gather MR has discussed that.

MR also knows the shot clock is vital. Still surprised a better solution hasn't been put in place for non-TV table matches. Watched Tyler Styer last night and he is a sloooooow player without a clock. Good match, but way too long.
