Seybert’s shipping prices

Hey hey, now! I’ve been looking to replace my “More Cowbell” hat for a couple few years now to no avail.

You wouldn’t happen to have the means to bang that out- More (on top) cowbell pic with a drumstick (in the middle) and Cowbell! (on bottom)? Not bubble letters, but a similarly jaunty font.

Mayhaps the hat would even be corduroy?
My favorite hat out of thousands I've bought has a built in gray beard and it says "My eyes are up here lady".

Double the Distance Aiming ???

?????
i may be having a definition problem
for me double the distance is looking center cue ball to center object ball
find the CONTACT POINT TO THE POCKET
on the object ball
double the distance from center object ball to contact point to find aim line
That works because the center-to-center and shot lines are usually close enough together that the small adjustment is made subconsciously. The difference only becomes noticeable as the balls get close together and the center-to-center and shot lines get far apart. This just means that double-the-distance, like all aiming systems, needs some user input.

USPS Ground is regional, I'm in the great lakes then there's NE, Mid Atlantic, SE, SW, MW, W PNW. The furthest regions will have higher rates but NOT MUCH difference for lightweight items. My price to ship an 8oz hat to Seyberts in a 6x6x6 box = $4.88, they may not even know or even care since most of the items are bulkier and people will be likely buying multiple items. You may try to login as a guest, I didn't have any shipping choices.

20 lbs shipped to PHX for me would be $26 but 25 lbs is $61 some of the USPS rate hikes are WHACKY. But either way Seyberts is insanely gouged.

Yeah, where are you shipping to op? Are you sure your info is correct. I just tossed a hat into my cart and shipping was $6.69 for UPS Ground Advantage. Maybe there was a site glitch or something? Try again.
I’m in AZ. The hat was $30, the total was $66 and change. I thought maybe I’d accidentally ordered two hats. That’s when I saw the shipping prices.

Who builds the Becue, full pool cues, and are they popular?

Glad you love the shaft but the shaft does not put English or draw on your shots, what it does is transfer the energy YOU are putting on your shots more efficiently, you will find you can play with less English and Draw and move the cueball more precisely and when you do need maximum spin it delivers that as well, you are getting the exact same results as I got, I picked up a second shaft in case a tip popped off, installed my favorite tip and both shafts perform exactly alike, this is another benefit of CF shafts, especially Becue shafts because of their engineering, their shafts play consistent.
Thanks for the advice!!!!!!
Just played a set today and was using "less" spin. Got much more accurate, making much more pots with the object balls but what really surprised me is the positions, english was kept to a minimum. I could concentrate more on making the shots rather than trying to power them in. I am not that good (APA 5) but managed 2 break and run-outs on a 9 foot table. I have not had any when playing with him on a 12 game match. I am really starting to like this Becue Prime II shaft!

Amazon perimeter style light

I think that I will go with the original Perimeter Light company for my pool table light once I buy a table in my new home. I would hesitate to buy an Amazon offered light- yes it is cheaper- why? why? --sorry but investing thousands in a table and then paying an electrician to do a correct overhead light install- I would hesitate to just grab any light off Amazon just bc it is much less expensive.

Everyone can choose to do whatever they want- not knocking anyone's personal decision - but after living a long time you learn that cheaper is rarely better, sometimes- but not too often-- especially when an install is involved- for the do it yourselfers- do you really want to end up doing it twice; way before it should need to be done again?

IDK- maybe someone here can firmly attest that an amazon perimeter light is the same or better than the Perimeter light that has been tried and true in the billiard world-- one cost $321 and the original Perimeter nine foot is about double that price-- again WHY?

How Often Can You Run This?

rack 1: almost straight on 8, hard to get on 9 but got a thin cut and made
2: left thin on 8 but got good position for almost straight in 9
3: normal, good leaves except for 7->8, kept it easy otherwise
4: left a very thin 8 but made it and took hit to 9 pushing it out in the open
5: same as 4, also moved 9 after a very thin cut on 8
6: left straight in on 8, did rail first kick to pot it but left a very thin bridge shot on 9, angle was good for pot but hit it too soft and it didnt reach the pocket
7: left again very thin 8, made it but scratched with cb
8: textbook run, left a nice 20-40 degree cut on each shot for easy position, first time that got a really good position for the 7->8, every attempt this far had to draw the 8 with quite a lot of power or shoot it at awkward angle
9: again had to draw almost straight from 7 to 8, good pot and speed but caught the jaw on the way back and left CB center table, leaving a long table kick which i overcut
10: second time getting good position for 7->8, almost scratched on the way back for 8 but left it good and finished the run

result: 7/10

better than my guess of 3-5 score. definitely got lucky in the sense that had to make many tough recovery shots (thin cuts) that couldve easily been missed, and only 2 of 10 racks did i get good position for 7->8, others having to draw it quite hard or a few times do a thin cut. for opening strategy, first few attempts i placed CB near center table drawing it back there, but from attempts 3-10 i put CB near rail on other side of the 4 and similarly drew it back to center from there, felt more reliable to get good shape that way. overall a good effort for my standards, wouldve been happy with 5/10 or so. if you play this such that hitting the other balls counts as a loss, then it wouldve been a 5/10 since two racks i hit the 9 while potting 8.

another good result is that i never missed a shot between 4 and 7, always failing at 8 or 9, im happy with that.

also, note that i used balls 4-9 instead of 1-6 just so it feels more like a rack of 9-ball.

(Played on a 9ft Gold Crown, normal 4.5inch pockets. Wrote this all into my notepad app inbetween sets so didn't bother capitalizing etc. properly :D)
