I hope so too… As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned that de-escalation is usually the better move EVEN when I KNOW I’m right. I still catch myself slipping now and then, but I’m way better than I used to be. The goal isn’t to “win” the argument/fight anymore; it’s to not let it win me.
