Perhaps You May Be Able To Recommend or Possibly Help Me?

Thank you for the comments and suggestions. The KW shafts I’ve been waiting on turned out lighter than anticipated so I have to locate a different cue maker. However, much to my delight, I’ve already spoken with someone ready to build a heavier version KW shaft that he’s already made for some clients. The best part is he doesn’t have to add any weight to the shafts.

Valley Table Rails

What yr was the table mfg?
I'm not too sure to be honest. But I'll tell ya this, Valley Black Cat model that is in absolute pristine condition. It looks like they never played on it. The absolute best part? I found it on FB for $350! I just happened to be the lucky one who msged the seller 1st. She told me she had over 100 people msg her after I did.

Oakland CA circa 1966 poolrooms

Yes I do. One of my first road trips to he Bay area from LA was 1967. As I recall, one side was a mexican room and the other mostly a african american room? To me it must have been one pool room at some point in the past? Then it was separated? Old timers in LA told me that during WW11 and into the early 50's Oakland was full of action located in this very room. As the action dried up in Oakland it moved to the city to the Palace and Cochrans. I believe I played The Go Away Kid in your room, Johnny something can't remember his last name. Also played him at Tree's in Fillmore. The Doggie Diner fed many a pool player back then. Yummy
The player you referred to was named Jesse if memory serves me. Never heard the last name. He came to Seattle in the early seventies.
