lol know whats funny? I was talking to one of the top regional players the other day and he told me he would see no reason to ever play in a weekly tournament unless it had an auction. When I mentioned the BnR he just scoffed and said that he will never understand what the appeal of BnRs are.

Then I remembered I'm talking to a guy who is a weekend warrior and gambler. His opinions are one I do not favor much just because of the different mindset vs players who do this to get out of the house for a night.

Consider the tv presentation of the pool table. It's an altar for some mysterious and sacred ritual. Recording mics don't act like hearing. They have a far flatter and extended range by comparison. The streamed sound needs to be optimized for public consumption. The quieter the tables are, the easier that will be.
