yes in a way i am. but have done really well in my life so it is not substantial enough to be bothered with smaller bets.
plus no longer a spring chicken.
most courses i played were links and public courses, many 7000 yards. when gambling you play what they want, and from the tips to whites or blues.
my above post was to say that its not the equipment that determines how well you play, it can only help a little bit.
A billiard ball is significantly heavier than a pool ball and it travels much farther in the course of a game.i play both games with the same shaft. and cuestick. do fine at both and dont see where hitting a billiard ball needs a stiffer shaft or a heavier one or whatever.
Do you think if you tried a 12.5mm CF shaft with a taper you liked might change your opinion? I decided on Kielwood but maybe CF could be different with a shaft size and taper you prefer. It be might worth checking out to be absolutely sure.I purchased a carbon fiber shaft to try out, a Rhino 11.8mm. Didn't like the taper, but it was probably simply to thin for me (I'm used to 12.5mm). Just sold it on ebay and returning to my wood Katana 3.
Do you still have any sets left?I have a few “new” sets of these. The creator sold some to my dad years(!) ago, and only these remain. Before I get into listing and shipping, any (hopefully local to NY) interest in them here?
