Traditional wood shafts making comeback?

Do you think if you tried a 12.5mm CF shaft with a taper you liked might change your opinion? I decided on Kielwood but maybe CF could be different with a shaft size and taper you prefer. It be might worth checking out to be absolutely sure.
In my experience shaft size does not as much difference with a CF shaft compared to a wood shaft, I own 11.8, 12.0 and 12.4 CF shafts, I use Becue cues and their shafts are designed for different hits, my 11.8 and 12.4 play like a CF shaft, my 12.0 is designed to play more like a wooden shaft, to me it's the best balance of CF to wood like hit, all CF shafts are not created equal IMHO 😀

Man, pool halls are dangerous

civil defense makes similar now. does what you say, rifle speeds, but shallow penetration. may not get deep enough.
‘Penetration’. A likely minor issue compared to ‘hydrostatic shock’, which is probably what initially discourages aggression (universal organ disruption). Of course, when major organs ARE penetrated, perpetrator recovery may be hindered/suppressed (?). But, even when the aorta or cardiac chambers are punctured, the time it takes to shut down the cerebral blood supply is still plenty enough to swing a blade or empty a clip (not impossible with those shot 17 times with over-penetrating 9mm hardball).
