Another question does Poland or any other European country have dedicated training facilities for player development?
So if I hold everything still except my forearm, contracting my biceps doesn’t “make it go”? What else is needed?

I think the biggest factor is that the top Poles work together. They travel together, practice together, and help one another improve. Americans are all lone wolves. The Poles act like a team.
Damn, I'd love to have my kid be able to beat me, and I'd be even happier if she could really give me a beat down!Just because they split (assuming they do) doesn’t make it make believe. I’m sure they both want to win - especially if they are playing for the title.
By the way, an interesting contrast to the Ernesto vs Oscar situation is John Morra and his dad Mario. Mario is a former professional snooker player, an excellent pool player (lost to Alex in the finals of the Canadian 9b one year I believe) and still is over 700 Fargo. Mario HATES losing to John. It’s funny watching Mario try to turn back the clock to when he could school Johnny. Mario tries his absolute darndest to beat him but John is just better than him these days.
