After you win a game a pool...

win with grace and
lose with dignity.
That's worth putting on a note and attach to the cue case so it's seen each time the cue is removed.
This topic reminds me of a loss to a weaker player. I offered my dignified handshake while stiffling my disappointment. The young player was So Happy that he stepped inside the extended hand and Hugged Me!!! Eek and yikes, it did make me smile when I was leaning towards cry. 😉

Favorite tips so far.

Tiger Everest. How does the G2 compare to a well used and broken in Everest?? Looking for something a little more consistent thru its life, I had McDermott make a new shaft for me, I requested an Everest but I forgot to ask them to knock off a couple of layers like I normally do with my regular guy. I plays way too soft right now.

I'm not sure how they would compare the Tiger Everest to the G2 . I purchased a new to me pool cue that had a G2 tip on it , after I got used to it I totally enjoy playing with that cue and tip combination as I was getting better English and control .

Granted this sounds a bit far fetched but true just how much I enjoy playing with my Mike Gulyassy cue !

Experiments in looking at the cueball while delivering the stroke.

This fastest 147 by Ronnie provides quite a contrast.

Only twice does Ronnie break rhythm to walk around and quickly assess the desired shape for the next ball. While Mark in his stellar accomplishment multiple times had to sort of chuckle at his less than perfect shape. Then he re assessed, regrouped and revised. I find myself in that situation often. I call it , new pocket new plan. The mindset of Mark is something I try to emulate.
