I believe the WPBA is a not-for-profit organization, run by an elected Board of Directors whose goal is to promote women's pool. That would make the players the "owners" of the WPBA.

Maybe SJM could speak on the Board's compensation.

Most people outside the industry just call it “felt,” so we use the term pretty interchangeably. Technically, yes, “cloth” is the accurate term. Kind of like calling aluminum foil “tin foil.” Technically it’s not tin, but that’s what most people have called it for years. Same thing here, “cloth” is the accurate term, but “felt” is what most people know it as.

The bit about potting down the rails and potting into middle/side pockets was very familiar to me as when I moved from playing English pool to 9 ball on U.S tables. I couldn't believe how easy it was to pot down the rails and how hard it is to pot into the middle/side pockets on a U.S table compared to a U.K table.

Why do balls come off the cushions at different angles between U.S and Heyball tables? Is it the material of the cushions, the height of the cushions or something else (the dimensions of both tables other than pocket size/shape are the same as far as I understand).

The aluminum racks are way to noisy, I like the Diamond wooden rack the best.

I was in China a couple times for my dayjob and of course brought my stick and played pool a few times. The house girls there rack for you. At the end of each game I'd put my hand up and holler out to the girl "rack rack rack". It was actually fun, haha. They were cute too

1. Place chalk on the rail upside down - automatic BIH foul.

2. If you complain about the shape you left yourself or your opponent left you (9b/10b), opponent has the option to shoot from there.

3. Any Corey style pattern racking is a loss of game. No warnings.
