Certain design elements have been copied and repeated all over the place, with various stylistic variations and interpretations. The TCOM cue design elements are an example, but there are numerous other examples.

Looking at your Orchid cue and then this cue is a perfect example. LINK Notice the design of the points in addition to the butt sleeve. I am pretty sure this is an overlay (decal) cue.
