My modest collection of Adam and others

Here is a photo of my modest collection of cues.

1 Adam cue case, found via trading with a member here on AZB. I think I paid $75.

2 What I believe to be an Adam AS-1. A friend gave me this cue, which started me on Adam cues. It started out with a dark green wrap. I had it replaced with black linen when the original started to show signs of wear. I got black to match the EAP CF shaft (see below). This cue butt is well worn, likely having seen plenty of use over its lifetime. I don't know how old it is. I use it every so often. Has a plastic or composite joint, so the balance point is farther back from cue #3. I believe it's Bocote.

3 Adam AH-12, (EDIT: It might also be a DX-series cue) white/green speckled linen wrap. I found this one on FB Marketplace for $80. Those are decals not inlays. It's my primary player. Has a metal joint, so the balance point is 1.75" forward of cue #2. Hits nearly the same as the AS-1. I am unsure of the type of wood the butt is made from.

4 Adam MAC-14. I recently found this one. For sure I paid too much, $300. I don't care. It looked interesting. It's actually a three-piece cue; the butt is in two pieces. Real inlays. Pretty narrow tip (around 12mm.) Can anyone verify the model per the MAC-14 sticker?

5 EAP (Ed Petersen) custom cue, made to my specs and colors with acrylic inlays. I like dark blue cars with red pinstripes, hence the color scheme. The butt is Bocote and Purple Heart. I originally asked Ed for a dark blue linen wrap, but at his encouragement, I could not cover up that gorgeous Purple Heart. I will not reveal how much I paid for it, but . . . . it was pricey. EAP CF shaft, around 12.5mm tip.

Gold Crown 1 rehab. Lots of questions...

Seems a fair bet that the same person leveled the slate, can probably imagine how that turned out. From the looks of things the same guy set up the pockets too....

The repair work on the rails is coming along pretty good, got the Maple veneer on the first piece last night. Now to find a stain color I likeView attachment 835466
Cool. Did you index where the rail sites go?

it is our non profit organisation. Sports club, and we own it. decision was made by new guys in charge. I have been vice president until start but this year only member. We needed space for pool tables but that they sold it was mistake in many our members think. We should keep it and take out one pyramid table and put carom there. I hope we get carom table back later.. maybe i get to president to make it happen.
You have my vote, sir
