My suggestion would be to contact Paul Rubino for an authentication letter (http://www.rubinocues.com). Appraised value will depend on many things, as will what you can ultimately can sell it for. Special cues, ones with inlays, and ones in fantastic original shape will sell the quickest and bring you the most. A "run of the mill" style and/or heavily played cue will probably be a tougher sell, and a much lower corresponding real value (what it can be sold for). Sad to say that there's not really been a worse time to try to sell most cues for "top dollar"....our $hitty economy has taken it's toll on the majority of cue enthusiasts, collectors, and buyers. Best of luck.

Hi Arnie,

It's Jeff C. Escrow is a service where a knowledgeable and trusted third party will inspect the cue, take pictures and provide a non-biased opinion regarding condition. They will not typically offer official comment regarding value.

Let's do this... let's arrange a time to take some pictures (if you don't already have some) and then we'll get some input from the folks here. If you have pictures, e-mail them to me and I will post them in this thread for you.

Send it to me!

Send pictures to NickSerdula@cox.net. I may be able to give you a ball park estimate. I can also be able to advise if a letter of authenticity will be needed for your sale.
Nick :)

If you want legitimate and authoritative authentication of a Rambow cue, there are only two people to see, Deno Andrews and Paul Rubino. Paul's contact info is in a post above, although I've had no luck contacting him there. Deno can be contacted using the "Contact Me" link at the very bottom of this page, and he will respond if you send detailed pictures and give him a few days to review.

I am an interested Rambow collector. Contact me when you have pictures and a price in mind.

Just last week I had a very good experience with Deno Andrews. He won't try to sell you his $300 appraisal/authentication service if the cue really isn't worth doing that.

Another nod to Deno. He has always been honest and forthcoming in our interactions.

I was wondering what a 1960 Rambow Titleist in very good condition would be worth?

I'm thinking of buying one.

Thanks,

Pete

$500 - $5,000 depending on options, condition, and provenance.
