Oopps Sorry....my finger had a mind of its own...:rotflmao1: Man that looks like it really sucked. I have come across some over stapled rails but that has to be the worst.

The only problem I see is, not enough staples....NOT. This same guy works in my area also. His web site claims he's a "factory Certified Installer" The fine print should state that it's the "Bostitch" factory.

This is an example of my biggest pet peeve in the business... Another armed and dangerous retard out there.

Scruffy, I hope you got a premium for cleaning up this mess.

Jay

How long were the staples? Looks like he needs a new stapler too as alot of them appear to have one of the legs of the staple sticking out.

HI Scruffy,

I am curious??? the cloth looks like new? what were you doing on the table? I know you didn't do that.

OTLB, We were recovering it. The customer had purchased it from someone
and did not want black. The cloth was in great shape except for the mess
in the rails. Your right, i was asking myself what did i do to deserve this??
Then i remembered the BK comment!!!:)

MECH, He had 1/4s for most of the rails then 9/16 for the corners. I guess he realized 1/4s wasnt gonna go thru six layers of cloth!!! LOL

Jay, i carry some bar rails on the truck. Showed him why i was gonna charge him more. He was in agreement!!!

rails

A friend of mine build houses like that. One time i was on the job and the home owner looked at the laminate beam in the basement that was 20 foot long with two king studs and six beside it on each end, sitting in the beam pocket with about 100 nails in the studs. the the laminates were bolted together on 16"" center. The home owner asked if he should call Zebart?LOL. Over built and under payed old school. The best in the business. In this case, more is not better. LOL

I would have been tempted to tell the customer that it would be cheaper to buy new rails than pay for the labor to pull these. Plus, with 2,372 staples in the last four inches of the rail alone, it won't be long before they split.

These need to be fed into a wood chipper.

I'm not the best in the world at covering these things, but I get the job done without doubling the weight of the rails! Sure when it's over I feel like I've been thumb wrestling with Mike Massey for an hour, but at least they look and play well. Whoever did this is King Hackmeister Extroaordinairre.

I Think This Guy Recovers Some of The Bar Tables in My Neighborhood Too.

Just Wait until You Get the First Batch of Staples Off, You Will Run into another Color Felt Underneath With Even More Staples...:rotflmao1:
