sounds like an awesome rule, i had heard this before but forgot about it... will definitely challenge people to play like this.
oh one thing i remember as a problem is safeties, if there is a hard cluster next or somewhere, you could make the ball and call safe, and the other person would have to shoot to break it out or give ball in hand anyway?
what do you do in this situation?
you call the pocket, you dont make the ball opponenet has an option
you call the pocket, you dont make the ball make sth else, opponent has an option
you call safe, you put anything in the pocket, oponent has an option
you call the pocket, make the ball, you play futher
you call safe, dont make any ball oponet must play

These two guys are better than the average bangers in poolrooms over here. They are fairly good amateur players already. They both need some work on their safety play from what I can see watching just a little bit of their match. I like the fact that they are playing Ten Ball, a little tougher game.
They both get down on the balls good but may be shooting a little quickly. Interesting tables, fairly wide open corner pockets (maybe 5") and fairly tight side pockets. The corner pockets look very forgiving, anything close goes in. It's so loud in that poolroom, due to the concrete floor. If a ball falls on the floor, you will hear it everywhere in the room, guaranteed. Carpet would have been so much nicer for sound damping. Best of all it looks like pool is alive and well over there.
That's my first reaction after a quick look see. Thanks for sharing this. One more example of why the internet is good for pool.
no carpet because of the consumer profile... it would end with chem cleaning twice a week or worse... i dont like it also, but what to do?
tables are medium ones... polish manufacturer. easier than dynamics that we also have in that plaing room ( no room for camera besides them ) but also need certain ball speed to be sure of pocketing balls.
btw in the younger one in balck/white polo in the video. i know i lost the match because of bad start and 3 stupid mistakes at the end, one safty play and two out of safty... just forgot to keep it simple i tried to tough option for me as it went.
thanks for comments. i counting on more
It is not my impression when I look at the number of Polish players in the Eurotours and at their results ! There is not only a lot of player but most of them are always a threat.
maybe top of polish players are on mid european level, but there is no depth in it. just 20 names that you already know, noone from our region. no older players to get the knowledge from. keeping watching internet that is all we can do.
