Internet, good or bad for pool?

Patrons of the bar can watch high profile, professional players with exceptional commentary while sipping their beverage of choice and sharing conversation with their friends discussing the matches in play rather than watching one of those mindless reality shows. :outtahere:

Didn't you just come back from commentating at Valley forge ? Talk about patting your ownself on the back..lol...J/k..You did a great job over there Joey.

VBG.
Thank you very much, Troy.

The truth is that I enjoy doing pool commentary and never knew I had the slightest aptitude for it. I am very serious about attempting to bring the very best of what I see and feel to the viewing audience while making sure that my co-commentator is a vital part of the production and that he/she enjoys the experience. I want to respect all of the players especially while they are playing but I feel a necessity to share the reality of the moment whether it be positive or negative.

While I don't respond to all of the many nice things people have said about my commentary it feels really good when I hear that I did a good job and it inspires me to be even be better the next time out. And NO, I'm not fishing for compliments. This is just who I am and what I try to be.

JoeyA (knows that Smorgass Bored would make a sharp and funny quip about right now. God, I never thought I would miss Doug this much).
