I had Velosity Pro cloth put on my Valley today. WOW, is it fast. I had the mechanic stretch the cloth as tight as possible...which he did. It's like playing on glass. At first I thought the slate wasn't put back level, as the balls kept rolling, and rolling. After I put a level all over it and saw it was level I shot the QB from different places all over the table. All the shots stayed straight, even when shot very soft. It's like playing on Somonis 300 3-cushion billiard cloth. It will loosen up some in a few days. In case anyone in the Tampa Bay area needs table work on their home table, Allen's Billiard Services did a great job on mine at a very reasonable price. Johnnyt

Yeah, I had the same experience when I had Brunwick Tournament cloth put on my Anniversary when it was refurbished. I like fast cloth!

I play on Velocity at the local room as well, it plays pretty well. Glad you found something you like as I know you were in search of. Tip though, don't vacum it, clean it with a damp cotton cloth. I noticed it pulls the weave apart somewhat if you vacum it and it will slow considerably. The original package the velocity comes in tells you not to vacum, but they started to anyhow here at the local room and found out why that was on the package that they ignored.

Hey Johnny,

Sounds awesome!

Did you happen to have the mechanic check the table for lizards? :)

Thanjk you for that info. I might have to vacume it if it doesn't slow down in higher humidity:). Johnnyt

This cloth is the nut's for a Valley. In 35 racks of 9-ball I made 4 balls on the break 3 times, 3 balls on the break 7 times, and two on break 11 times. The rest were 1 ball on break except one time I made none.

The balls don't stick together when they roll very slowly into one another and when they hit the rail rolling almost to a stop, they bounce off it. With the other Championship cloth they would weld themselves to the rail and stick to each other. I was shooting QB from the rail a lot and trying to break clusters up on just about every rack. Kind of makes it tough to string racks together that way. I can't wait until after dinner to play some 14.1 on it. I feel my high run on this table coming real soon. I need to beat 72. Johnnyt

That's a great tip for anyone with Velocity cloth. It sounds like you'll ruin the cloth by vacuuming it.

Again I know it's early but it feels good to finally be able to play at any time, not just when the humidity is below 65. I still got 5 rails back and forth long way and side with a hard stroks, but way under a break stroke.

I know it's only on one day but the humidity was 91 out on the patio at 8:00 AM this morning. It played just as fast as it did at 60 humidity the day before. If that was my Championship cloth it would have been unplayable at 91.

If it plays this well for me for 6 months I'd be happy to buy more and have it put on. I know guys that have several tables or in the coin op business can't deal with that short a life-line. And maybe it will last a lot longer, I don't know. Johnnyt

We recently had the Velocity pro installed at one of the local bars.

The rails wre replaced also i actually hit a 9 rail bank on a barbox.
that stuff moves and rolls true.
2 thumbs up for velocity and it cost about 1/3 of the big name stuff.

Paid around $65 a table.
I put championship 3030 Tour Edition on my table I spent $155 on it.
