This table was sold used to a lady in North Jeresy from a dealer in NYC. It appears that 2 of the frame aproms were replaced with the new version of the Cavalier. Problem is the mounting block is 1 1/4" lower. The pics show what we saw when we arrived.

Table should have never been installed like that. (Well, obviously). IF (big if) the holes were drilled in the wrong place in the legs where the frame mounts, Olhausen would have fixed the problem. I don't see that happening though. You're probably right that pieces of the old and new versions of the table were mixed up. I just still don't understand why someone would go ahead and install that?!?!

It allows for etter air flow so the table doesn't get to hot in one place this will make it play more evenly .

Frankly I can't tell much from the enormous, out of focus pics other then there's a big gap that shouldn't be there.

Gotta love your post tho, LOL

With the rubber pillars under there, I gotta ask....how did the table sound?lol
I'm not going to waste the time to see for myself, but I figured you rolled a ball or two just for s&g's.....

Still amazed....
