I'm not a wealthy cue collector, so my full splice probably can't hold a candle to the fancy inlayed Tascarellas and such... but enjoy my humble collection 1 cue, 3 shafts. Guess which one of them is the old growth shaft? Hint: It's darker than the other 2 shafts and has killer grain!

Woods are Straight Grain Maple spliced onto Goncalo Alves (Kingwood). The kingwood has some real figure to it. The joint and Hoppe ring are ivory, although I'm not sure about the ferrules. I included a pic of it for you guys to judge. I was told all 3 shafts had ivory ferrules when I bought it, but mistakes do happen and I don't judge.
