It's great to see other regions of the country jump in on the cue and case show idea. This will allow exposure to REGIONAL collectors, dealers, and cue builders. Some of us relatively unknowns need venues to show our efforts and begin to develop the product name recognition to grow as a business. We can't necessarily travel across the country in the current financial situation. Tiny local tournaments just don't give very much exposure to BUYING individuals. The web can be hit or miss also.

A BIG THANK YOU to those people who do all the legwork and go through all the efforts to bring these much needed shows about.

I got all excited when I saw it say "Midwest" thinking it might be close enough for me to go to, then I see it's in Ohio. Ohio is Midwest? I'm bummed. :frown:

I would say Ohio is definately on the Eastern edge of the Midwest. Technically, I suppose it would be the Mideast, but I have never heard that term used.
 
We are definitely Midwest!

And I was glad to see that Ohio's where it will be held. I will make the 40 minute trip north!

Great idea, and hope there is a good turnout.

Me too. I would not have called Ohio midwest either.

Guys move this to chicago and I will come. :thumbup:
 
Jamie, I heard your giving Jason the 8 and the breaks in 9-ball,and giving 5-4 in banks.
 
This will be a great time with a lot of good people hanging out. The cues there will be incredible. I sure hope my work schedule allows it.

Does one have to buy booth space in order to sell a cue? Put more directly; can I bring a bag with a dozen cues along to sell or trade? Is that too many? How about one or two?
 
At less than $200 a table, I think that 12 cues would warrant a booth. I don't think anyone will have a problem with 1 or 2cues walking around, gotta have some trade bait :cool:. I think this is gonna be a great time with a lot of serious players and collectors.

I was so excited I almost. . .then I saw it was in October and I will be in another place by then!

I agree with Doug. Anyone wanting to bring 10 or more cues should pay for display space. If there are a bunch of guys rolling 12x24 cases around it will completely defeat the purpose of the show. The $150 cost for a display space is very reasonable.
