On friday April 24th The Legends and Champions Pool Tour with Johnny Archer and Nick Varner will be at Butera's Billiards in Moorpark (L.A Area) and will be playing two challenge matches and there is also chances to play a rack of scotch doubles with Archer and Varner.
Our great friend Jay Helfert will also be on hand with copies of his bokk Pool Wars. He will be available to sign them and personalize each book. If you get a chance come down to Butera's Billiards and meet the legendary Toupee Jay. it should be a fun night,
 
I'll be there early in the day, before those other two imposters. ;)
If anyone wants to "practice" a little One Pocket, look for the old broken down bum with a Josey Cue. That be me!

Jay is getting around: sounds like he will be signing his name a lot more theses days...congrats to you Jay! Who'd of thought all them stories would make for great reading......only EVERYONE...can't wait to read it myself.
Don't worry I can handle it :)

Jay will also be at Robin's Pro Shop signing his book ...so if you will be in Vegas at the BCA, stop by. Of course I may need to pin Jay down from time to time, he will be a very busy guy I'm sure.

I may wander in and "practice" some with you. Of course, with you being a well-known player/stakehorse/handicapper/director/promoter/author/road man and all-round pool stud, I figure you could give me something like 10-5. It should be a tough game but I'll take my chances.:grin:

Not a bad handicapper yourself. Too bad I know how you play - GOOD! I will play you even though. If you really want 10-5, you can get that if you give me 5-1 on the money. Think about it, 10-5! How can you lose?
 
I ordered this book a couple of weeks ago through the AZ store. How long does it normally take to get the book this way? or should I start worrying?

Doggone it, Jay! Somehow I knew it wasn't going to be easy to sneak up on you. I probably should have stayed with my original idea of wearing my Lone Ranger mask to the pool hall.

The order was received last Monday and shipped via Media mail on Tuesday.
 
thank you Jay! The book showed up today and I can't wait to read it. It is also cool of you to sign these books as well. My gut instinct is that I am going to love this book and when I do I will recommend it to all of my friends at the pool hall.
