I didn't decline a thing, he didn't ask me to make a game with him. Not like I owe him any action though, he's never done anything for me and he's a complete stranger(much like yourself). Fall back!!!
To add to that, why in the hell do I need to play a top 10 player in the state? There's no business in that. How bout you go play him some if you're so interested? You my friend are exactly the type of person that gets someone sent in on them. To think I actually green repped you. I declined his offer about as much as you did when I said in an earlier post you keep bucking up like you are trying to play something. You're probably broke and unhappy with life though...keep truckin guy.

It's an even game...the bet changes by the hour and the sets posted keeps changing to. I initially only asked for 2 sets and the response was I'd rather post at least 3. I'm sure something will go off though. If you want to know more you can PM me and I'll let you know what's up.

I agree that after a certain point asking people to post would get annoying, but this is gambling. You are taking a gamble that the people you are matching up against even have money!!!
You're right, I don't know 'you'. I just know what I've heard about you and what you and other people post on AZ. And from what it seems, these are two seperate people. I am certain, in person, you are someone I could hang out w/ and have a beer(btw, you owe me one!) and even play some friendly pool. But on here(az boards), you come off a totally different person. You seem bitter and mad and discouraged.
There's no 'big stack' money to be had in Des Moines. Iowans don't like to hand over thier 'hard' earned money to anyone, even if they lost it outright.
So settle down with that special someone, have some kids and buy a house and stay a few years. I'm guessing you will find you end up liking Iowa after all.

I did buy a house, I am settled down, and am in no way discouraged or angry. Add the air to the loss column and I'm still doing pretty damn good around here. It just is what it is. The whole don't like to bet hard earned money thing may be true in some cases but I'll tell you what...guys magically get more dough to bet when they have an easier game.
Oh and I don't think changing the title of the thread makes it any less true. If I put a poll on here and just let people from Iowa vote I guarantee you it would be a split vote...now if you tried to put a similar poll up about North Carolina, it wouldnt even be close. I know I know go back there right? Nah I think I'll stay and make some good money and live in my nice home and enjoy the state...still doesnt change the fact pool sucks here. Ask other people you know, I can tell you what pretty much everyone I talk to has more negative to say about pool here than positive so that says something to me. Oh and excuse me if I pass on going to the hot spots like Omaha, Waterloo, and Davenport sorry if I road trip I need more than that.

I don't have a horse in this race and would have stayed out of it but I just wanted to come forward and let you and others know my good friend Mark aka mosconiac is not broke and unhappy with life . He is all most always in a great mood and has a very good job ( LoL not saying he works hard LoL ) ( Sorry Mark I had to LoL ) If that's not enough to make him happy in life he has a beautiful wife and a daughter that will steal your heart like she has every one who is lucky enough to get to know her .

I can respect that...he's got a lot of home state pride and in a lot of ways so do I, this just isnt my home state. I much like him have a phenomenol job as well, I do work pretty hard though. He might be a good guy, he probably feels the same in reverse, he comes off like an ass when he posts on this thread, I probably do too. I was just telling another AZB guy who also doesnt know this Mosconiac guy that he must like men and he agreed but apparently that's untrue. Good luck with his family and you be well also.
This isn't a diss thread it's just a real thread. There is no one in this country who can say I've ever done any of the things that have been done to me since I moved out here. Historically Agriculture based economys do better in a recession, maybe not true this time. It's certainly not a karma thing. I don't need the money it was just something Ive done for fun the last couple years. Maybe I'll start bowling again...they used to call me "Pinz" or maybe I used to call me Pinz...one of the two.
I think if you won't gamble with the top 10 in any state, you are going to be in a tough spot looking for action. All it souinds like to me is that you are wanting to not gamble and just steal. Nothing wrong with that, but just easier to read if you would just say it.
Myself personally in the box with him even, no doesnt sound like a good bet if he's near as good as they say he is. They say he plays the 7 ball over the best players in town minus McCoy and Chance. I would gamble with him though if there was a good game or one of my boys came out here and played him some. Josh Johnson is supposed to give me some action this weekend so it has nothing to do with the top 10, I think when I wrote it I didn't say it the way I wanted to.
The action has been so tough(closer to bad) on me though I almost feel like I'd be an idiot to be good action for these guys for a while. What do you do though? Go back to hittin people in the mouth(I can definitely do that), freeze people out until there is no one left to play(been there too), or just minimize the action you take on(trying that now)? I'll figure something out that works for me, it'll be summer soon and that's always a time I dont do much with pool just kind of chill out and refresh myself.
P.S. Hell yeah I like to steal, do you know someone who doesn't?

I was in IA yesterday, and I can't even tell ya if pool sucks there....since when I decided to stop by Millertime it wasn't even open....around 1:00 PM. Was hungry, called a buddy, went to Golf Discount, and then met him at Red Robin for lunch. Had to check one more time - After 2 now, still not open!!! Guess I should have stayed at Leisure Time (E Moline IL) since it was open when I stopped in there (before noon), but I had some running to do in Davenport - shoulda went back, but I left and stopped at Billiards on Main in Galesburg on the way home - played there. Wish that room was closer to me!!!
