WOW! 3000 is a ton of posts, and I really don't know what to post except whats going on in my little pool world...

I'm waiting on a cue being built by LP customs. It's a design similar to a Szamboti I once saw....I can't wait!

I have a cue on the way from Austria of all places :) it's sitting in customs at JFK airport......friggin customs!...GIMME MY CUE!

Summer is coming and I can already tell my game is slipping. I'm also a fly fishing junky. think pool cues are expensive? you all should see what people pay for custom fly gear!.....crazy :thumbup:

What I really am hoping for is before I get to 4000 posts someone figures out how to get pool back to where we were 15 or 20 years ago. I talk to younger guys who just never have had the chance to see the game when its hot. I was lucky to be a part of the "color of money" bump for pool....that was a fun time to be a player!

Congratulations on hitting the 3000 mark! It is kind of like a forum birthday of sorts, hitting the thousand marks.

I look forward to reading the next 3,000. You are truly an asset to this forum! :)

No snap.....no inlay work of any kind. I went old school on this one.....Rosewood reverse full splice with sunburst veneers.....and boxes in the butt with Delrin buttcap....Nickel rings at the 5/16-14 SS joint!

I am hoping it is done for the Derby or before. LP Customs is a great guy to work with and his prices are WAY TOO LOW for the cue I ordered.

Keep it man!....I made you a copy to bring to the EXPO. Yes, lets get together for some 14.1!....hey, are there any events coming up any time soon? I havn't been paying much attention.

Jam, SJM, and all you guys are too nice! I have really enjoyed sharing what I know with the rest of the world here.

You know,.....after 3000 posts, I can't remember ever going to war with anyone!?....is that some kind of record? :D my wife has always said I avoid conflict....I just tell her....it's not my job to explain why everyone is wrong! :)

Me and Fred got into it one time but we were both arguing for a good thing, so it was all good.
