buddy of mine Mack Combs was up there..He did ok...won his first couple of sets and lost.......he's put out now.........said lots of really good people! Said hennessee hasn't lost a set yet....Probabably going to win it! Hope so!

Jayburger, just got back, Abernathy didn't beat McMinn, Shane McMinn wonit without losing a set. Benny Conway 2nd, Henny 3rd, Jeff A. 4th. I,m sure Daniel will post a lot of details and some pics later. Many champions there. Great tourny. Had a lot of fun, won a little money,saw lots of old friends, and got back safe. Stay tuned for more details when Daniel gets settled.
Strong, strong field...to say the least. Wonder how Earl did? I don't think the short track is his claim to fame. Too bad Stevie couldn't make it...he's as tough as anyone on the box. I think he's won it 3 or 4 times.

Yeah, we're back Kevin. Daniel just hasn't logged on yet. Earl played good, got in the money at the end ,but not real high. It was a tough field, Earl beat Shannon in the 1st match, Scott Rabon eventually put him out.
Man that would of been a match to watch....Scott is another one who can beat anyone on the box. Don't be fooled by his goofy bent finger bridge.:thumbup:
yes it was a great match, if I recall, it went hill-hill, I didn't watch it all as I was involved in other things.
Earl raked the table for Scott with 4 balls or more left after the match was tied at 5 and when Earl run out to the nine Raybon didn't give it to Earl and he jawed it to lose the match 7-5. The ladie there said Earls mind was great Saturday but shot to hell today, he finished 13-16. Abernethy beat Scott R the next match 7-3, Jared Mcgee also ended Lil Tony's day hill-hill and he finished 13-16. Great buy D--Leonard

I was a little tired last night and slacked off on the log-in. 
It was a fun tournament to say the least. Many strong players came and took their shot but Shane McMinn shot em all full of holes. I am glad that the attendees allowed me to purchase him in the auction for such a reasonable sum.:thumbup: He played nearly flawless pool for 2 days no matter how much he sweat or how many times he fell on that slick floor.
I had a lot of fun seeing a lot of buddies again and had a blast hanging out with Scotty Townsend. This was the first time I have really spent any time around him and he is definitely one-of-a-kind.
On a more somber note, we all need to say a prayer for the Tyler family. Brian is in the hospital and the outlook isn't good, . Brian and his dad Billy have been coming to this event for years and they were missed. Keep them in your thoughts.
