Any video that can be saved to computer can be eventually made into a DVD.
Of course, if the file you save seems to be impossible to work with, that's another story.
I tried recording the stream today and found it really difficult. Many programs claim to have successfully recorded it, and I end up with files that are large enough to be actual movies... but the files do not play in any video player (wmp, media player classic, vlc, etc) and do not open in any video conversion program.
I think they just aren't compatible with anything. When you record a live stream it's missing index info that a video needs in order to be decoded properly. Basically if anything can fix these to make them playable, it's such an intense pain in the ass that it's not worth it. If anyone finds a method that works, let me know. After an hour of hassling with it I'm bored >_<
