Any AZBers going?

One of my buds from Atlanta persuaded me to come donate so I'll be there.

Tournament play starts Friday at 7:30 PM. The player's auction starts at 5:00 pm - I bid one dollar on me. :D

I see they have a dress code: NO jeans or white tennis shoes.

It's only a $15,000.00 guaranteed purse. I don't know what the entry fee was but it's going to a good cause so it's OK. :) Maybe my Atlanta buddy heard about me doing commentary and he treating me to the entry fee to get on my good side just in case I sit in the booth with Matt on his match.

Matt90 will be there Live Streaming the tournament so stay tuned to www.cuesportsvideo.com to see when he flips the switch.

I will be looking for a pool lesson while I am there. Maybe I'll trade one pocket lessons for "aiming secrets" with Johnny Archer. :grin:

That is a pretty cool poster. I'll see what I can do.

Chris it would be great to see you there. That's a lot of dough and who knows, there might be some side action there. Bring Kirk D with you and I might let him give me a reasonable spot of 9-7 for nut money. :D

Crown Cues will be at the Cue and Case Show on the 11th. I can't tell you whether Gene will be there, or not. But, I plan to be there and possibly our daughter-in-law, also. Gene has a day job and so does the daughter-in-law. I reserved the room for 3. We'll see if I turn out looking like 3 folks :eek:, or just 1 of 3 folks. ;)

You do get around. We missed each other at the Super Billiard Expo so I hope to say hello this time around. :)

The room isn't brand new, but it is kind of "newly acquired." Kim and Johnny bought it not too long ago, but the room has been around for quite a few years. And it is pretty nice with around 40 nine footers, full bar, TV's everywhere... it's one of my favorite places to play.

I'm real excited about this tourney. Kim's got a great list of players that he's expecting, and he has high hopes that this will become an annual tourney that gets bigger and bigger each year. Hope to see everybody there!

We'll be coming up for the show, but won't go into the tournament room as it is smoking. I look forward to seeing my fellow AZers. You'll be seeing a LOT of me (literally :D) lol
