Don Akerlow from OTBnTV snapped a pic of Sheila and I for the VNEA website. I passed the VNEA ref seminar and got some floor time in shadowing a real ref.
Jim Baxter was in town and we had a bang up day shooting pool and touring around. He took us to Pool Sharks for the rest of the evening. Real nice place and the first time in my life I got to play on a Diamond table. Met up with Greg, (GWJackal) as he was working the Schuler booth.
Had the privilege of meeting the infamous Guido Orlandi, he did some fantastic cue work for me and turned a $140 traveling cue into a great player for me.
Just amazing to watch this guy in action.
