Finally! AZBilliards got shirts!

OK, we finally got some great T-shirts for ya! These were done by Color By Michael out in far west Texas from the designs that you forum members submitted. Those who order shirts prior to the first production run sometime in July (yes, THAT specific) will get shirts that say "Original Collectors Edition" beneath the graphic. After the first run, that sentence goes away.

So go to our Marketplace (in the menu bar at the top of the page). Then select the "AZBilliards.com shirts" category and take a look around. This is pool related because if we don't sell some shirts then Howerton won't be able to pay his table time.

Lou Kovach of Durham, NC, was the first person to order an AZB shirt. As a result, he will receive a special prize in addition to the shirt. Lou, go to accu-stats.com and pick out any match video you want. Email me the name and accu-stats part number and we will buy it and have it sent to you. Email me your choice and your address at: Jerry@azbilliards.com. I assume you want a DVD.

Jerry,

Does the t-shirt maker have everything he needs to make that HEART shirt? I'm guessing he would need a higher resolution image, right? If he's OK - perfect. If not, give me his email and I'll re-do the design hi-res.

Dave

The "Paradise" shirt needs an apostrophe in the word "players".

I still *heart* the HEART shirt

Out of curiosity, will the creator of each design get a free shirt?

Just ordered a couple for me! They look great!

Everyone PLEASE remember that these shirts do not ship until sometime in July. When you order them the Marketplace will go ahead and hit your credit card for the money now. That's how the software works and we cannot alter that.

Actually, that's not true. Mike and I intend to steal all the money from the advance shirt sales and buy a castle in Bali where we will live out our lives in luxury.

Apparently, my initial "property of" idea didn't post, then BVAL posted one.... Then, about 10 minutes later my "property of" idea posted. I hate forums, my posts not going up right away is the reason I stopped making comments on stuff. The internet is out to get me.

Can I come? :)

"Pool Player's Paradise" or "Pool Players' Paradise"?

Good point, Marissa!

And, *where* is the apostrophe to be placed -- before, or after the "s" -- to indicate singular possession or multiple possesion respectively? I.e.:

"Pool Player's Paradise" (singular, as in "the" pool player's paradise)

...or:

"Pool Players' Paradise" (multiple, as in the paradise for "all" pool players)

What think ye?
-Sean

(And for those accusing Marissa or myself of being the spelling/grammar police, no, this is not nit-picking. This is *basic* English grammar -- we obviously don't want our product to look like an "I be a T-shirt" amateur.)

LOL - I created that shirt and I screwed it up to begin with. I had already sent Jerry a PM about the apostrophe.

I didn't realize I screwed up until I showed it to my gf and she was so kind to point it out immediately :).

Also the "Property of AZ Billiards" shirt I created will have the date 1998 - not 1990. I created it before I had heard back from Mike H. on when he actually started AZB.

Interesting. I have never had that happen.

First, we will put the apostrophe after the S. Next, the Got Rep designer gets six shirts when they are made. If the designers of the other shirts will send me your shipping addresses and tell me which shirt it was you designed I will send you some of your design. Please specify what size(s) and color(s) you would like. Send the info to: Jerry@azbilliards.com

Jerry,

What brand and model of shirt will these be? It will determine what size I order as different brands fit different.

Thanks,

Ray
