More action on new cue

I recently got rid of my Cuetec and got a Lucasi. I find that it draws the ball with much less force then the Cuetec. Is there a reason for this?
Also i have been playing for 50 years and have had a lot of cues and this one is just plain great. Not as good as my 80s era Schon but darn close.

for the money Lucasi is hard to beat.my guess would be it has a different shaft taper than the cuetec, one with more action.also maybe skinnier joint or better tip/ferrule combo.

What Mason said... As far as comparison to your old Schon - you're probably seeing the effect of an additional 30 years of production cue maker education & emulation. Main thing is you're happy - what more could be required?

you may order 10 more to the same specs and never find another.wood is wood and that makes each piece a little different.if you like it keep it

Oh yes i am happy with the cue.I get people saying how nice it looks and then they are surprised to find out it is a $225.00 Lucasi. I think next time someone admires it i'm going to keep my hand over the Lucasi logo and tell them it's a $600 custom and see if they go for it. One guy said it made a sweet sound when i hit it hard.:D
