Joey Aguzin CAUGHT.

Real nice Casey!

I really needed this.:frown:

Now you've got the GingerBread Man begging to play banks instead of one pocket. Jay has got mores moves than Fred Astaire. Next thing you know he will be asking me to play 6 pocket. :p You got to hand it to the GingerBread Man, he keeps those feet moving.

Joe V is an old friend and we do talk from time to time and he tries to school me with some of his pool secrets. He shared many with me when he lived here in New Orleans but the guy continues to crank out more. The one he shared with me on the telephone is now part of my arsenal.

It's a way to accurately draw the cue ball off of an object ball INTO THE path of another object ball. He swore me to secrecy so you will just have to buy one of his DVD's to learn how to do it. LOL

Joe's a great guy and I heard that Da Barber from California used to know Joe V rather well. He remarked that JoeV was one tough hombre. :D

Little Joe Villapondo is an old friend and foe of mine going back about a hundred years or so. He is one smart cookie and I won't be trying to make any games with him anytime soon. Not even Banks! Have fun Joe, hope to see you somewhere soon. ;)

You must have learned something from the phone call. Heard that you WON the nine ball tournament this past weekend. I think that a man of your means would send Joe V. a little BONE. JMO.

JAY. You better bring alot of Jellybeans, Joey don't play cheap. Banks is his middle name, and he does not CRY. Does POUT a little. Don't think he will give you a spot. JMO

No spot needed or asked for. I have jellybeans and some cash too. If you want to back Joey against me, I will gladly play a $1,000 set of Banks, long rack or short. Your man Joey doesn't seem inclined to back himself.

I still love you Joey and we will still be friends after the game, win or lose. Sounds like Casey wants to put you in action. It's a free roll for you.

P.S. I will play on a Brunswick or a Diamond. I have no preference either way.

Jay, oh Jay, why oh why do you continue to distance yourself from our originally agreed to one pocket game?

I can hear you right now. "Run, run, fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'M THE GINGERBREAD MAN."

I know those little legs of yours carry you so fast and far but do you really have to distance yourself from our agreed to one pocket game?

JoeyA (will always be friends with Jay, BEFORE - AFTER , no matter who wins)

We ORIGINALLY agreed to play one set each of One Pocket and Banks. Later on you decided to drop the Banks from the conversation. Turnabout is fair play, so now I'm dropping the One Pocket from the conversation.

I am running fast, to the ATM to get money to play you some BANK POOL! Let your new friend Casey back you. That's okay with me. After I beat you at Banks, I'll play you some One Pocket. Promise!

You promised to play me some one pocket at that Derby City Classic, but your fast, little legs kept me at a distance.

If you're scared, just say you're scared.

OKAY, OKAY, OKAY! I'm scared! You happy now? But I will still play you some Banks even though I'll probably be shaking like a leaf.

Jay. Casey backs Casey. I can't beat Joey, and like you I don't play anymore. But, I will try you some one hole or your friend SAW some one hole. I'm 65 and retired. Life is GOOD. CASEY

I don't know who you are or how you play, but you've got action with me. I'll gamble with you just to see how you play. I know that you know Joey, but that's fine with me.

Before it's all over I might make believers out of both you guys. I've seen this movie before.

Jay, I think that JoeyA is correct, that the deal was to play one-pocket only.

I did a search on the forum and found a thread where you were looking for action, and Joey made an appointment with you at DCC, to play one-pocket, and you seemed to agree.

Roy - has all the answers

Thanks Roy, but what you don't know about was the conversation we had in DCC where he agreed to play one set of each. I sincerely do appreciate your trying to help. I hope you're there the day we play. I know which way you're betting.

The GingerBread Man running not as fast as he can, but as fast as he has to, AWAY FROM THE TRUTH.

Joy Boy my friend, are you trying to say that we did not agree to play one set each of One Pocket and Bank Pool at DCC? $500 a set for TAR. Sounds to me like someone is trying to recreate history to suit their own version of things.

I don't really care anyway, this is all a "just for fun" conversation. I know how this story ends anyway, but I'm not telling you, that's for sure.

Jay,
You are the history revisionist. This is what YOU WANTED. I wanted to play you some one pocket just as I wrote. You wanted to get out of playing one pocket.

I've never played bank pool, not even in the Derby City Classic.

You are some kind of self-proclaimed giant in the bank pool world. Why in the world would I want to play banks with a bank giant like yourself? Ask yourself that question.

Bank Pool giant??? Hmmm, I like the sound of that. Maybe Freddie will let me carry his case.
Okay, I'll play you some One Pocket in Galveston. If I don't make it, start without me.

Jay, You don't know me. I will help you out. I'm a retired Fireman in New Orleans 1999 to be exact. I would be no challenge for you. I just like to stir up the water a little bit. But I do have lot's of Jellybeans. Red, Green, and my favorite Orange. I buy them by the bag. Thanks, Casey

Not to worry my friend. I have decided to retire from competitive pool. I just have too many other priorities right now to devote the time at the table required to play well. I've had fun playing these last 45 years, but I think it's time to put my tournament and gambling days behind me. I see myself focused on other projects at this time, some of which are also pool related and will require a great deal of time and effort to complete. I have two more books I really want to write. And there is no shortcut there either.

I'm going to have to hang up my cue for a while. I'm not saying I will never play again, but I'm not getting any younger either. :frown:
