Mike Fuller wins 10-ball tourney!!

Fuller won the hot seat after defeating Earl Strickland 7-6 then strickland came back to challenge Fuller again.
Earl wins the 1st set 7-4 but couldn't finish Fuller off in the second. Score was 7-3 in the 2nd set.
Fuller complimented Earl for being a total gentleman throughout the entire tourney. A great win for my friend Mike and a Big Bonus for the Pearl for his true professionalism throughout the entire tourney....

This tourney was held at Fast Eddies in Goldsboro N.C.

Yes, it is a Capone. Yeah, you're right. He can make a ball. I've known him since he was a kid. His dad, Peaches, is one heck of a nice guy too. Oh, and Peaches can make a ball, too.

I wonder where he would have gotten that cue at?? :D Whats been going on steve? Fuller has got him a new little one at home.
 
good shootin Mike !!

I only know Mike a little from the Carolina open and Jacoby events.He's
a great guy to talk to , glad to see him win one . Think he's on the list
of players for the Gem City Classic here in Georgia next weekend .

Yeah Mike has a new curtain climber. I think Christian is about 4 years old now and has a high run of 150 balls so far. LOL

Mike's dad can play, Mike can play, Christain WILL play,.........it's in the bloodline.

I'm just glad Mike is using all the skills I have taught him. The force is strong in that one, it is.

I stand corrected. Mine just turned 5 and I could have sworn he had his first. I was guessing at the 7 .:frown:

As much as I respect Fuller and his game... kinda makes a hard case to play in these amatuer events after beating Earl twice huh.....
 
most local events are handicapped and very skilled players(like Mike) are usually giving up so much weight in each set its very hard for them to win.when they have to give 4 games in a race to 7 (or more) they must play perfect pool(i mean zero mistakes in the whole match).

The GSBT for one... in any case... amateur is amateur regardless of the weight and games you give on the wire.... it means what it means is what I am saying. Either you are or you aren't ... quite simple

I've beaten high caliber players a couple of sets and I definitely shouldn't be blocked from amateur events.....

He has only played 1 GSBT events since it went to modified amatuer events... How many games you need to feel like you got a chance anyway? If more than 4 then you have no chance to win anyway with or without fuller in it.... Just trying to help you save some money if trying to enter a GSBT event...=)

Kenny... You know how I play....Ive won a GSBT event lol. I wasn't questioning Fuller himself just the whole amateur status thing. Don't give me any crap like I'm scared to play. I had to give you 2 games on the wire last we played...:) Fuller has to give me 2 on the wire going to 11... aint enough is what im saying.

My Bad Greg! I didn't know that was you..=) I know you play real good!! I know you're gonna play this weekend in Roanoke right??I know you aint skeeered to play...Except playing Shannon Fitch..lol!! :thumbup:

Yea, Ill be in Roanoke... will you be there? I think Landon Shuffett will be there and Scott Lewis as well.... Monday and crew will not be there I don't think.

Shannon Fitch has given me one to many beatings over the years I'm afraid....I just assume walk to the other side of the pool room when hes there :thumbup:

PS. You need to be an A player (I won't rat you out though;):eek::D)
