I usually don't like too much Tulipwood, but that is Nice. Great work Leon. jim

design

Leon, you do great work but I have to criticize a little. The cue looks awesome from the handle back, but the forearm needs something other than little ivory "spears" in it. I feel it would look better with tulipwood points in the ebony forearm...Veneers aren't even needed! Anyways, the handle-back looks utterly gorgeous! I looove me some tulipwood and ebony!

I can't wait to see it in person! Dukeboy I chose to not have tulipwood points intentially as I did not want too much tulipwood in the cue as nice as it looks. The ivory spears compliment the butt sleeve spears...just a personal preference. Thanks for posting pics.

a beautiful cue, especially the little spears in the forearm. and the ringwork is just the way, i like it!
i don't like the boxes but it's only my individual taste...

I have to disagree with Dukeboy, I think the cue is well designed as is, sometimes the beauty of ebony needs to be shown. Nice cue.

Can't wait to see it in person Matt. Nice cue. I could go either way on the points. I like the understated look also.

NOW IF I WAS MAKING THIS CUE FOR ME I WOULD HAVE USED TULIP WOOD SPEARS IN THE FOREARM but this is what Matt wanted Enjoy it it's one of a kind there will never be another one made like it by me!!!

Another stunning piece from Leon Sly. I didn't like missing the bus when I was a kid and I still don't like it today.

Kind of weird how the buyer specified the specific design and then tries to flip the cue without having played with it, stating that he was 'looking for something different in a cue'.

If he was looking for something different, why didn't he change the design?

Either way, its a nice looking cue Leon. Good job!
