"Straight Pool" is two words, not one.
i was gonna let that slide, considering a pool player probably did the poster :d
Don't know JB but I also notice it has a pic of Jasmin and no pic of Gerda who actually won the EPBF Straight Pool Championship this year. Maybe it means nothing, just more promo hype.

The only answer I can come up with is, she is managed by DP.
That is the only thing I can come up with too.
Jasmin took 3rd last year didn't she? I'd say that deserves an invite.

I see 4 qualifiers listed for this tourney, those that want to play that didn't get an invite should go and try to qualify.
Also, if the promoters/sponsors, etc...want to invite Charlie Williams and some homeless guy off the street, have them play a race to 20, and call it a World Championship then so be it. It is THEIR money. Don't support it, don't play in it, and don't watch it if you have a beef with the way the players are chosen, qualified, hand picked, etc...

JASMIN PLAYED EXCELLENT LAST YEAR. SHE IS MORE THAN DESERVING TO BE THERE.
IT WAS A VERY NICE EVENT TO WATCH.

Sorry. I wasn't trying to indicate Jasmin didn't deserve to be featured just noting that Gerda is not being featured after beating Jasmin in the EPBF championships this year. Don't know what the complete qualifier system is for this so I'm not sure why Yu Ram is featured or if Gerda will even be invited. :shrug:
It would be nice if DP NEWS/CHARLIE WILLIAMS would ONE TIME answer a question.

If my memory is not failing me, I don't recall Yu Ram doing anything significant in straight pool. That is, unless, we take the word "significant" to mean winning, running up, or placing in a major straight pool tournament. (And not, "significant" to mean her use of a jump cue in one of her matches at last year's straight pool event -- as in turning heads / boggling minds at the insanity of using a jump cue in straight pool!)
