I have a Meucci Special Edition 3 with 2 predot shaft at both 12.5 mm and the cue weight is about a 19oz and the cue is in overall good condition. Im looking for a nice Scruggs sneaky pete possibly with 2 shafts. Here is what the Meucci se 3 looks like and what its selling for.

meucci cue 4 a scruggs sp

I think you are looking at a hard sale, not many would consider an even trade. Regardless, if the cue was before the quality taking a dump by Meucci, I would consider an addition of another cue or cash. Scruggs Sp are some of the most sought after, I had to sell my SP 4years ago, sold it for $450, now for a good scruggs SP and on top of that he won the cuemaker of the year award, You will have to do more than that. I don't want to be harsh, but the fact is Scruggs cues, will forever hold their value, and I know for a fact prices for his cues are going up! I would think you will need to at least add $150-200 cash for someone to consider the trade. I have owned meucci's and they are good in the past, but this cue hasn't been a sought after model so, just consider modifying your trade options. Good Luck!

I agree with the guy above. I am doubtfull you will get any bites on this trade. IMO you should sell they cue for X amount of dollars (or ebay it) and then take the money and ask if anyone has a Scruggs sneaky for sale.

i don't think 700 is "too" out of line for his cue. i do think with the cue market not being in the best condition right now it'd be hard to get it though. the predot shafts imo really make the cue worth it. meucci predot shafts play a lot better than the dot shafts they started turning out.

i think he should try to sell his cue and out right buy a scruggs sneaky with the cash
