SVB/Frost race to 11, 10B, $2500 right now

Yes, SVB was using the cuetech with a standard shaft. Doesn't seem to have slowed him down any!

A non-wood shaft? Wonder if he'll end up going to a glove like Earl did.

Also curious to know if Shane was wearing Cuetec badging on his apparel. Sometimes these guys aren't required to wear the company colors in match-ups outside of an actual tournament, even if it is a streamed event.

There were five players in the ring game, Adam Behnke, Jason Chance, Mike Bennett, Scott and Shane. Once it got down to the two pros Scott offered to play for it all race to 11 and Shane agreed since they were even in "dollar amount" in the ring game. Scott tried to say 9 ball and Shane said no 10 ball since that was what they were playing. Scott missed one ball, scratched once on the break, and Shane shit in 1 ten ball while going for a hard 3 ball combo...besides that some solid shooting between the two. On our side there was $300 worth of side betting on that race. It should be a good weekend.
Matt

Wow $300 worth of sidebetting and I couldn't get a phoned in $100 side bet amongst friends...that's pretty foul!

Match was already about 2-3 games in when i saw your text. I wasn't involved in the betting, Jason Chance and one other guy combined bet that much with some guy that walked over wanting to bet on Shane.

Yeah I could see that. When I came in Jason was gambling SVB, even 9 ball I think. When I left he was like 4 or 5 sets down. Anyways I might try to get a couple more bets on Shane...I like the way he plays the game.

That break...good lord that break! His 10B break is a thing of beauty. Frost had no chance even in that short race to 11. SVB was making 2-3 balls (even 4 on one) on the break and running out. When he finally scratched on a break...he hadn't made a ball and left Frost an ugly rack. Wow, it was torture on Frost.

Was Shane still breaking with his playing cue, or was he using a separate break cue?

I thought he was using R360, a wood shaft

The TAR announcers last night & a friend of mine that talked to SVB a lot while he was in Asia said it is a R360. I believe SVB's interview on TAR said the same thing.
