Doral Billiards 3 Cushion Tournament

I was just there last night. I hope they take better care of them than they do the other tables.

I got a hunch, Fat Man. I got a hunch that its me from here on out. 4 ball, corner pocket.

Did that ever happen to you? All of a sudden you feel like you can't miss?

I don't play pool, Mr. Felson. I play billiards.

My house, my game. You don't have to play if you don't want to.

go ahead and play him Eddie, play him for a thousand dollars a game.

Level with me Eddie, you ever play billiards before.

What's the difference? You got a pool cue, balls on the table. All you got to do is get the feel of it.

How much?

............

With that I could've beat him.

That's all I needed, Charlie.

FE: You'd like to keep me hustling for you, wouldn't you? You might make enough to go back to Oakland and buy a little room, six tables and a handbook on the side. Is that when you say goodbye to me, Charlie?

C: Is that what you think? OK, that's what I want. Six tables and a handbook on the side. Getting old.

FE: Lay down and die by yourself. Don't take me with you.

C: (leaving) Thanks for the drink, Eddie's girl.

How should I play that one, Bert? Play it safe? That's what you always taught me, play it safe, play the percentage. Well, here we go, fast and loose. Eight ball, corner pocket {makes the ball}. Yeah, percentage players die broke too, don't they Bert?

It's not enough you have talent. You gotta have character too. Well, I got character now. Picked it up in a hotel room in Louisville.

Shoot pool, Fast Eddie.

I'm shootin pool, Fats. When I miss you can shoot.

{Sorry, I missed the chat room. Had to get it out of my system}
