I also see that Sarah Rousey is #16. I remember meeting her about a dozen years ago when she dreamed about becoming a pro player. She's done it, and also deserves to be congratulated.

I was looking at the players sponsors and noticed Jeanette Lee is sponsored by APPA of course we all know this now. But, did you know that she is also sponsored by Bass Pro Shops?
I'm wondering how Bass Pro Shops is tied to pool? We all try to reel in a big fish but this is taking it 1 step further LOL. How did she get them to sponsor her? Anybody know?

I got the new Billiards Digest yesterday, it had an ad with Jeanette showing that at a Pennsylvania (?) Bass Pro Shop, that they were going to have a billiard room; I suppose in their restaurant/bar area. Don't have it in front of me now to check details.

Ga Young made it through the US Open field undefeated to collect 1.5X first place points. Those points combined with always finishing high I'd say makes her a favorite for WPBA Champ. But there's still half a season to go.

You sound like a real fan. Perhaps one day you'll get to see a match of hers in person....errrr wait.....perhaps you've seen them ALL while the rest of us were working.
Congrats to GYK - she seems like a really nice and fun person; a very good example for aspiring professionals. I heard she had a nail-biter of a match with Jennifer Barretta - perhaps you could share the details.
There was a screw up with my tickets and i wound up not going! So sorry-no details. You're right she is fun, a good sense of humor and smart too-very smart!
