I want to have a jump break cue made and am curious about trying this tip on the new cue so some reviews would be helpful. Thanks in advance. Rob.

I have the icebreaker cue that comes with that tip. I only started using it a few sessions ago....
it jumps really well but it lacks power on the break, it could be that I need more time to get used to it but in any case I don't think i's the tip but more has to do with the cue construction.

I don't see much benefit from this tip over a phenolic tip or the white diamond tip.

my friend had a bad experience with icebreaker tip, supposably there are a series of them with a factory fault and the phenollic and the leather part dont qoute hold well together and tend to break.this happened to him

he got a refund no prob and is now breaking with white diamond and i can say only the best things about it.he has it on his old fury playing cue and it brakes great!

never tried an icebreaker, but i am loving the new samsara j/b. all leather, but super super hard, could pass for phenolic. but has the control of leather!

IF you plan on playing BCAPL in Sin City NEXT MAY, I understand they are a NO NO. I am not taking mine off, I love the product, and do not PLAY BCAPL!

I won't have to worry as I don't play in apa or bca sanctioned events. ELaborate cowboy, how does it break and how does it jump?

The Samsara J\B tip is the best. It hits 'em as hard as phnolic or G-10 and it's legal too.

I use the Leather Tip on my Cuetec breaker.
Intention was to have a more powerful break cause the Cuetec with the black shaft was not powerful enough.
It was not that of an increase to be honest.
Would try the Icebreaker J/B though because i heard a lot of very good critics.

I have both the Samsara J/B tip and an Icebreaker tip and I like the Samsara tip better.

I use an Icebreaker and to be honest you I had almost every single jb cue out there and so far this is the tip that Pete Omen will put on my new jump/break! Can't o wrong on mixing leather and phenolic. Edges are phenolic and center is plain hard leather.

Did your friend contacted Tiger? Who installed the tip? If you crack the tip lightly during the install of the tip so it faces the ferrule, I guarantee you this is what will happen. This will happen with any phenolic tip.
You mentioned factory fault and I have been selling Icebreaker tips for a while and never had a problem.
Also, as far as I know there is no recall... Who told you that it was factory fault?
I would like to hear Corey on this one...

i got the tip from seyberts and was installed by a local repair man.my friend did not contact Tiger he sent the tip back to seyberts and asked for a white diamond.i will pm you details since i dont wanna put out any names.

TommyT whacha breakin with that has the Samsara tip? Like it better huh? I know I can jump pretty well with a phenolic that holds chalk. If you say the Samsara tip is just as hard maybe I will give it a try. Couple negs on this tip so far due to cracking and I don't like the sound of that.
