Help with attaching a Hager extension.......

Hey all, I just got my Hager cue extension from Tony (Benfica) last week.
I bought the 16" because I thought it would fit into the long pocket of my
case, but its about an inch too long. Therefore, I'm looking for ideas on
how to attach the extension to my case. If anyone has done it, or has a
good idea on how to do it, please share on this thread. I'm sure theres
more than just me trying to figure this out. Thanks all, Dom.

i just stick it in the long pocket let it hang out the top and zip up the pocket all the way to the top of the extension. havent had any problems. no velco required

Thanks Brian, but I'm kinda like a pack rat. I have stuff that fills the pocket
up pretty good. I have the cue claw in there, along with some of the super
soft waxing cloths to wipe down my shafts. I'd really like to keep the Hager
extension on the outside if I could. I will try it though, and see if it will fit
in threre with the other stuff. At least maybe some of the other stuff.

I also bought one of the extensions and have the same problem. I'm going to look into the velcro solution and make sure I don't put any velcro where I would need my hand to go.

no you do a velcro loop with the buckle. so you can pull it tight to the case. two loops 1 at the top and bottom.

Can you post a picture of this please?

You loop the velcro around the buckle and what about on the extension itself?

I am having the same issue with my Holmes "cue" extension. I decided to go with a latex sheath as it stretches to allow these types of things to fit.

I do the same thing Pocket Speed does - I stick it in the pocket, zip it up and let about
1" stick out. Works great for me. But I don't have anything else in the pocket.

That might be the cuteist pup in captivity. Is it a mixed breed/mutt or ??

Back to the extension. I use a Tony Ryan extension and I use a soft case with hard case tubes stuck in the sleeves. There's plenty of room for everything and the case is protective enough for my purposes. I believe it will protect against all but the most catastrophic of events.

His name is Teddy and he's a Terrier X (mutt). Got him from Animal Samaritans. Without a doubt, Teddy's the best dog in the world.

I got good news. John Hager is coming out with an accessory that will cost not too much more than 5 or 6 bucks to put the extension. I should be getting a prototype soon and I will keep you guys posted.

My lil Benji mutt is around 17/18 yrs old and slowing down. I'm looking around knowing I gotta get a replacement.

I cut mine to fit my case. Remove the silver metal cap at the end of the nylon mesh and carefully with a razorblade cut the inch from the end that the cap was on. While holding everything together epoxy the cap on the end that was cut. The mesh is hard to cut even with the razorblade, be very careful and be sure to cut the plastic tube also.
