Upgraded Barton custom case

Here is the upgraded case John and associates did for me. The lid and strap are fully carved and keeps with the original carving. John is real easy to work with and eager to please. He goes beyond what needs to be done to please the customer.
Case in point......When he sent the first carved lid it was a whisker to small so I sent the original lid to have the new one made and John sent me a case to use in the meantime and asked me to pass it on to someone who needs a case. That's huge in my book.

Barton case

Great looking case,in fact thats the best looking of the barton cases ,I like western style cases.I have had deals with John and he is really a class act.We had a problem he insisted I return the case,exchanged it for two Flowers style. He then made me two nice cases personalised for Tim Scruggs And Mike Cochran.Both put their personal cues in the cases and are very proud of them.

Mine is on the way this month and I cant wait to get it, should be awesome as most of the ones I have seen from John are. :smile:
 
Beautiful work, Tommy.......nice one. John really is a great guy and like you say, real easy to get on and work with.

If anyone is considering a custom case, I cannot recommend John highly enough.

Great tooling work, of course...but the front design, stitching, oiled leather, etc on this JB cue choice is my fav of all of the cases out of their shop. I certainly can appreciate the work involved in the highly ornate & colorful pieces they do, but this case's basic design is sleek class up & down. Rolls Royce is correct... Congrat's & enjoy!
 
Tom, your case is now abolutely perfect. I'll have to catch up with you at Classics to get a peek. By the way you have a pm. Thanks, Rob.

Hey Tommy,
I had the pleasure of finally meet John yesterday. I picked him at the SFO airport, played some pool, had a small bite with him and we even went shopping for his daughter... What a great guy he is...
He is a true talent... We all know he lives in China and all, but at the end of the day it is is talent and eye at work.
We all know that he loves to be vocal about his ideas but he is a true gentleman and him and his family are welcome on my house anytime time he comes around :)
