Dennis should have won it already, race to 9.
Dennis was ahead 10-6, and Yang beat him 19-9 the rest of the way. What does that tell you?

And i have seen Yang play better than today. His form has not good these few years, seems like he is in some kind of slum.
I was on the teampillipinos one, and it was choppy. Watchable for a bit, but not for hours.
Is there a concensus on the best of the feeds? What was that one someone touted - clubpaco? But someone else couldn't get the authorization email??
Maybe we sould all register at clubpaco now?
Mine too, gmail junk mail folder. The confirmation email came to my junk folder. You may want to look for it there.
Can someone give me more background info on Yang?
How old is he?
What are some good Youtube clips of his play?
I've seen him play before too. This looked like vintage Yang to me.
Can someone give me more background info on Yang?
How old is he?
What titles does he hold?
Has he ever played in the US? Where has he played?
What are some good Youtube clips of his play?
Yang is 31. I think he has played in the U.S, but not very much. It is ashame that we don't get a chance to see some of the great players, like Yang, Wu, etc., in the U.S.
Here is some of his past tournamnets that I pulled from the internet: I think this is an old list. He has won numerous Guinness Tour Stops in the last few years, including the season finale last year.

This guy actually may have a chance to be a good player some day1:grin-square:
He was not even top 4 in an Taiwan Pro event for a few seasons already. The Taiwan commentators mention he is out of form lately and for quite a while now.
Some more recent achievements:
Silver Medalist 2009 World Games
2008 WPA Asian Nine-ball Tour, Jakarta Leg
2007 WPA Asian Nine-ball Tour, Singapore Leg
2007 WPA Asian Nine-ball Tour, China Leg
2007 WPA Asian Nine-ball Tour, Kaohshiung Leg
2007 Money Game King Showdown
2006 Super Cup
2005 WPA Asian Nine-ball Tour, Kaohsiung Leg
Sadly, Yang's achievement as a teenager were so extraordinary, that its hard for him to live up to them now. He won the Japan Open at the age of 18, Asian games at 20 and 24, and 3rd place at the WPA Championship at 24. Ever since then, none of his achievements have come close to these. So, in this sense, its a disappointment. But, still an amazing player, none the less.
I don't think we watched the same match. I just saw a guy (Yang) playing super pool. I don't know who you were watching. According to the information printed above, it looks like he had numerous wins in 2007 and 2008. And he just won the Guinness Tour this year. Maybe no one told him he was in a slump.![]()
