I am sorry to hear that one of Accu-Stats' esteemed moderators/administrators got banned from Galveston.
While I agree with Justin's comments about the !unban <username> function - Ustream changes its interface
so often it is hard to keep with what works and what doesn't work.
As you know from the CSI NCS tournament you, SDE, and I played tag with spammers quite a bit.
Under the latest Ustream version - or if it happened on the Accu-Stats show page -
I would simply right click the chat area and then click on my "Ban" list.
Finding your name or IP address would be simple to do and then delete it.
That SHOULD get you reinstated. Unfortunately it is true that a
moderator - broadcaster has to perform this function.
But it should also only take them 10 seconds to do once they locate you on the list.

Why would anyone from AZB ever need to be banned anywhere else? Don't you get enough here?

I banned Bigtruck on an OTR stream a long time back. This was back when the user names would adjust rapidly when folks came in or out of the room. Just as I was "dropping the hammer on the spammer", someone either came in or left and :bash: -- no more Truck.
I immediately got a PM from the guy that chickens fear the most. I went into a panic as Lenny (aka The Thumbinator, Lenny the Lock, Fast Lenny, Lenny the Coin Flipper, etc., etc.) was playing some one-hole and, at that time, a mod could not unban. I went into complete shock and immediately thought -- "Truck is going to leave tread marks all over this skinny body". PMs went back and forth and back and forth. I wanted to throw myself out the nearest "winder" (I learned a new word from Hillbilly @ the Galveston stream :woot
. Lenny was too busy trying to find the hole and didn't know what had happened. Finally, Lenny returned, I told him of the situation, but he had so much stuff backed up from being gone so long that he didn't have time to figure out how to unban him. (This was back in the early learning stages and you can "ba-leed dis my brothers and sisters--he be "know-in how ta-do dat chit now, know-what I'm say-in.")
All kinds of thoughts were going through my head -- bad thoughts, real bad thoughts. I felt like what I flushed the morning after eating Two Chili Rellanos, a Bean Burrito (with chicken of course), and a large side order of refried beans at Casa De Lopez whilst washing it down with a bottle of exlax! I wanted to just :barf:.
In case you were thinking, "did you get the spammer", the answer is -- not only did I ban him; but, I immediately sent a "nit-warning PM" to another pool stream moderator, was quickly made a mod, and I banned him again even before he had time to post his "I hate <insert girlfriends name here>" garbage again. I wonder what she did to piss him off so much

Anyway, Truck was Truck and forgave, as is his way, and I now moderate his streams as well and am truly happy about that.
Zilla my friend, I hope this was a human error, as was in my case. You have always, I mean ALWAYS, been nothing but a pleasure in the myriad of streams we have met up at and are top notch in my book. Of course my book is very short and has nothing but pictures that are somehow stuck together.
Off for a refill of Baileys & coffee (Curleyscues and I loves our B&C!).

Someone banned me from my own show one time! Lol. That was a little trickier to figure out. :shocked:
The last time someone was banned by mistake on my show, I simply added them to my moderator list. That reinstated them and then I de- moderated them. Prolly not the proper way, but it worked.

thanx to all my friends for being concerned. although inside pool only
has a stream once in a while i still find it hard to be treated this way.
it's not a big deal, but i miss staying in touch with the people on the chat.
it is nice to answer questions and ask some too. makes you feel like you
are there in a way. and of course we have quite a bit of fun on the chat
with the emoticons and other humorous batter. so folks as of 12:30 pm
est. i am still banned. i did send some emails. one to insidepool forum
administrator. being that there is no contacs on the ustream channel
i thought this might help. and one to cuezilla as that was the name i
remember seeing as a moderator. so for now a wait to see what will
happen come 2pm est as the broadcast starts. i really don't want to
start a crap list of people that ignore this, but i have a sensitive side !

I am not a computer guru, but I was wondering if you signed up in USTREAM with a different e-mail account if that would work.
I have several e-mail accounts, i.e., Gmail, Yahoo!, AOL, et cetera.
Maybe you could try that and see if that gets you in.

so instead of having them fix it not knowing how long it would take
i deleated it. that was a mistake imo now as i can't go back there and
get it fixed. so i did start a new one with my other email account and
that is all the email i have for now. it would matter alot more if insidepool
did alot of streaming, but they don't. so it's no biggy! but thanks, really.
