Today I got back the old Huebler cue I had sent to Mueller's for refinishing. I couldn't be happier with the excellent job they did.
The cue is a 70's plain jane Huebler that appears to be rosewood. It was in dire need of refinishing, and the shaft had a small cut that needed to be repaired. It was only because the cue hits so good, and because it's a vintage Huebler, that I decided to pay for refinishing. It was worth it, because the cue now shows a gorgeous grain under a perfect finish, the new linen wrap complements the cue beautifully and has the texture I requested, and the shaft is clean and free of imperfections. I played with it tonight, and it hits great with its new ferrule and tip. Mueller's did a fantastic job of rejuvenating this classic cue; I suspect it looks even better than when it was new. I'll try taking a few pictures in the hopes of lucking into one that does the cue justice.
If you need a cue repaired, I wholeheartedly recommend Mueller's.
P. S. No, the cue isn't for sale.
