Meucci FR 1 for $100 - Is this a deal?

The Meucci FR 1 has a Red Dot shaft and the seller says it is in excellent condition. Been reading a lot of bad things about Meucci but was considering buying it for $100. Checking to see if folks think this is a good deal or not. Thanks.
 
In excellent condition, I believe it's a good deal......if a Meucci is what you are wanting, it's a great deal. Some folks like the way they play and some folks don't

Honesly Meucci's are definitely a hit or miss with people as stated above. My friend plays with one and loves it. If we swap cues (I use his for a shot, or he uses mine for a shot) both of us will always dramatically miss. He hates my predator 3.14 original and I hate his meucci to the fullest!

Try it to see if it's for you. Sounds like a decent deal to me if I had never tried it out and if you don't like it, just sell it. Never pass up experiences as they may reveal another level in your game!
 
$100.00 Meucci

The freshman series are very attractive designs. If you can get one for $100.0 do it. You can always get a new shaft if you find you don't like the red dot.It's still worth it. Don't let other people influence you about it's playability.

I'd say yes if its in good shape. If you can find a good shaft that doesnt have the red or black dot shaft on it that matches your cue then its a steal. The red dot is junk, but the cue in question looks very good style wise and should be a great cue.
