It would be GREAT to see Earl get his SIXTH U.S. Open 9 Ball Championship Title.

Earl will have to look inward to find the will to perservere and to bring his A game to the forefront. He cannot do it again by talking to ANYONE. He must be silent, completely silent. This is true when his opponents are running out like water and even more true when they are getting all of the rolls. When lady luck spanks him, he must be a masochist and accept her punishment with silence and look forward to the next time he is at the table. In his silence, he may find what he has lost.

Victory number 6 would silence the critics who think he doesn't have what it takes to play at this level.

Leonard, you don't be a fuddy-dud, there are many people who have NEVER seen a bagpipe band and it is spectacular especially if you aren't prepared for it like I wasn't. I could stand listening to them but I like accordian music.

If it looks like Earl is going to be in the Finals that last weekend, I will book a flight at the last moment and hope to witness the impossible dream. Earl has already had 5 impossible dreams. Why not another?

Sorry guys, but with Earl's current state of mind, there is no way he will get number 6. He will self destruct long before that happens. JMHO.

Stream info?

I didn't see anything on the website related to an internet stream. Does anyone have any information on this?

Thanks.

That's exactly what I was going to ask. Telling us there is a TV table says nothing to us, except that someone is going to be taping those games.

We want to know if anything will be live-streamed. If it's on ESPN, we'll never get to see it. It has to be on ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, or the educational channel, or it can be live-streamed. Otherwise, we get cheated.

If it will be live-streamed, who will do the job?

Will it be free or ppv?

If free, how much to sponsor the stream?

Need answers.

Thanks, JoeyA. You made my day!

Do you know if it will be a free stream, or ppv?

Also, what days will they be streaming?

Sorry for the million questions. Just trying to plan our month ahead.

Thanks Joey, but there's nothing on their site yet mentioning it and it's only two weeks away. Their "Upcoming schedule for both PPV and Ustream" goes through September 20 and we're already in October.

As long as your going to be at the tournament please suggest to behrman that he apologize for his remarks from last year and not make the same mistake this year.

Geez, lighten up a lil, Brian :o

Barry actually did apologize to the crowd last year, during the event. If anything, it was more of an off colored joke, rather than a slur. That's Barry for ya. FWIW, Barry is Jewish as well.

Eric:
behrman's remarks were insensitive and offensive. Even more so given his background. It is difficult for some to understand but there is much harm caused as a result of such remarks/conduct.
Thank you for informing me of the apology.
I believe the apology should have been in writing and posted on AZ but based on history that is probably expecting too much.
Eric, if it helps, my comment this year is more then a little lightened compared with posts I made last year.
