Veneers in outer space!

That is how I would describe those veneers. They just start from nowhere. What a look!
The rings and the inlays are in perfect balance.

Nick, the veneers are beautifull with the blue in there. I always loved 8 pointers, and this one is special. Mike made me exactly what I asked for, with the rings and the 8 points. The design he came up with compliments the entire cue.
The bottom line is...once you get a Mike cue......your hooked....LOL
 
I love how Mike can put a very tasteful twist on traditional designs... great cue Steve!
 
Mike's workmanship is incredable.
Mike ain't too bad either for a country boy!

Well after my son in law confiscated this new cue from Mike, I had no choice but to pull out my old TS box cue and kick his butt........Now I have to call Mike and start over....this time I dont let the kids see it....LOL there like vultures

Hi Steve

Another masterpiece from Mike (great score) .Mike called a couple days ago and said he was sending me his new personal players cue to try out. It arrived yesterday so I went over to my friend Herbie Lehmann place and shot some 9 ball, it's beyond words how great it played and later that night in league play I was amazed at what I pulled off.A team mate wanted the cue so I called mike that night and could not talk him out of the cue, he wants it back when I come down in two weeks.I'll take some pictures before I send it back.

ps. While i'm writing these I just got handed a new Burnhart, I'll open that next.

Mike hit a home run with this cue. I like everything about it. Should be a great player as well a great collectors piece.

Ingo, I may consider you deal if you could come here and pry this Cochran cue away from my son in law......He took it home a few days ago, so its going to be tough

think that would be of course the main problem ^^
and...if your son felt so in love with that cue, you teached him 100 % right- he ll never have a problem in his life :cool: he already now has the eye for the important things in life, lol.
 
every so often i come back to look at this cue,Mike Cochran is really a geniusat cue making,for years he has been making the great hit he and Tim Scruggs are famous for,and now he is making a cue that is way out front with design as well.

Mr t you have been blessed with a son in law who knows his cues
