Ernie is one of the best period...you will not go wrong. If you have the money just buy it and its guaranteed that it's going to shoot so good, your gonna cry brother.

I believe you are speaking highly about Ernie of Gina cue fame. Ymiryang was asking about Ernie Martinez.
I owned one of his cues many years ago & it was well made and a fine player. He quit making cues for a while & then started back. If I remember correctly he had quite a waiting list & someone was selling spots for his cues before they were complete. Search his name in the For Sale section & if you look back far enough I'm sure you can find the thread with lots of info. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I have a bunch of vintage Ernie Martinez cues.
They really are unbelievable cues to play with.
You rarely see his older cues for sale because the people who have them won't part with one.
The playability is spectacular, the balance & taper is legendary, and and his cues have a very lively hit.
The butts are on the fat side and his standard pin is his own 3/8-12 flat faced.
I didn't dig them all out and take pics but I will.
Here is one of the oldest Ernie's around and one of the only 5/16-14 piloted steel jointed cue you will ever see.
He has made a few other steel joint cues but they are still 3/8-12 flat faced.
I played with my newer one last week and it was great too but there's nothing better than an old Ernie cue.
You wont see too many older than this one.

Nope Kevin is right about this one. i remember the threads. the first ones were pj bem cues but they got nicer as he got back into the swing of things
